How the status is calculated
After each refresh, the system captures a new DeepState map screenshot, detects the Mala Tokmachka settlement boundary, and measures the area inside that outline matching Russian control.
The percentage on the site answers one question: how much of Mala Tokmachka appears under Russian control on the map. It does not replace official statements, but it gives a fast OSINT indicator for reading the map.
Status thresholds
- below 5% - not captured;
- from 5% up to the full-capture threshold - battles ongoing;
- the high capture threshold is configurable in admin settings and is used for the red captured status.
Limitations
Map layers and control lines can change quickly. The status should always be read together with the update time, source references, and visible map screenshot.
